Anna Geniushene, born in Moscow in 1991, debuted at the Berlin Philharmonie at the age of seven, launching an international career that has seen her perform in prestigious venues and collaborate with renowned conductors. In 2020, she released her debut album featuring works by Prokofiev and Rachmaninov. Graduated at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, she is also a passionate teacher and served as assistant professor at the Moscow Conservatory. Her participation in the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition earned her the Silver Medal and widespread acclaim for her “powerhouse sound” and “extraordinary virtuosity” (Musical America), describing her performances as “fresh and captivating” (La Scena). She was named Young Artist of the Month by Musical America and featured on the cover of Pianist Magazine in 2023. Recent and upcoming engagements include recitals for Washington Performing Arts, Kennedy Center, Wiener Konzerthaus, and Grand Teton Music Festival, along with collaborations with the Taipei and Lithuanian Symphony Orchestras. In 2023, she released an album of lullabies and is preparing a duo album with her husband, Lukas Geniušas, for Alpha Classics. In 2024, she joins the Bowers Program of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center for the 2024–2027 period.
