Jiaxin Min, piano
Jiaxin Min is a Chinese pianist who earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at The Juilliard School, studying with Sergei Babayan and Matti Raekallio, and graduated in 2020. In September 2024 she began her Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London under Dmitri Alexeev and Vitaly Pisarenko. A prizewinner from a very young age, she won major competitions in Shanghai before achieving international recognition, including awards at the Fontainebleau Prix Ravel, the Steinway Competition, the e-Piano Competition and the Cooper Competition. She made her debut at the Shanghai Concert Hall in 2012 and has appeared at festivals such as Kneisel Hall, Taos School and Focus! Festival. She has worked with distinguished musicians including Yoheved Kaplinsky, Robert Levin and Marc-André Hamelin, and was the revelation of the most recent Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition.
